Two great Music Charities in Flagstaff :

Guitars for kids charity from Wilson Music. We are always accepting guitar donations for kids to win in our essay contest. I try to have enough guitars so every kid wins a guitar. Essays from kids can be sent to me in a message, but they have to be hand written so a picture of the essay counts. I am currently rounding up guitars for a St Patrick Day/ Prize Winner Giveaway. It is ok if the guitars people donate need repairs. Despite our repair shop being booked out, we can repair the guitars for the kids before St Patricks Day. Please donate your unwanted or broken guitars and tell the kids to get out a paper and pen, essay topic of; "Why do you want to play the guitar," or something similar. Another wonderful charity and great opportunity for musical youth grades 8-11 in the Flagstaff area!! Applications are open for FIVE music scholarships worth $1500 each from the Haven Walker Music Scholarship Fund (a project of the Flagstaff Music Festival). If you know any youth who may need funding assistance in furthering their musical journey, send them the info! Deadline is January 31, 2024. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD and share this post!
